I have taught asynchronous online courses for seven years. When I designed a course three years ago, I added a discussion on successes and challenges to the capstone class. It works! The students are experiencing a very different self-start project, and the support they provide to peers each week is phenomenal! I also ask them to include a link or materials that others may find helpful in addressing challenges. Your post made me think about adding the positive post idea to my other courses.
